2013 Upland Muscat -- 1935.png

Upland Vineyard Muscat, planted in 1935, represents some of the oldest vineyard plantings in Washington state. The grandfather for the region, William Bridgman, planted a variety of European wine grapes on Snipes Mountain in the Yakima Valley. This dry Muscat, fermented in stainless steel barrels, has bright acidity, prominent floral and stone fruit aromatics, and appealing spice nuances. The Newhouse family purchased the Upland Vineyard in 1968 and has since farmed it for four generations.
